The key to attracting online buyers is controlling your days on market.

Did you know that 90% of homebuyers said that online shopping was a key part of their buying process? As a home seller, don’t you want a piece of that pie? I want to talk about days on market and how we can capitalize on that online shopping.

Days on the market measures the age of a listing. If you’re looking at sandwiches in the deli, you’re not going to buy the one that was made last month, right? That’s exactly how buyers think when they look at homes online: They look at the freshest listings.

You need to control the days on the market if you want to stand out online, and there are a few ways you can do this:

1. Be ready to sell when you list. Make sure you can do showings right away, or you might lose buyers.

2. Hire a professional photographer. You need the house to look stunning on the marketplace.

3. Price the home correctly. Buyers know value. If your price is too high, they’ll keep scrolling.

If you are thinking about selling this year, please give me a call. I’d love to meet with you and answer any questions you might have.
