Here are three tips I recommend for boosting your house’s curb appeal.

I’ve been receiving many questions recently from sellers who are considering selling their homes wanting to know how they can boost the outside appeal of their houses without spending a ton of money. So today I’m sharing three cost-effective ways to boost your curb appeal:

1. Pressure-wash the exterior. There’s nothing worse than going to visit a house that’s dirty or has debris lying around.

“First impressions count!”

2. Do some landscaping. No one wants to pull up to a property that has an overgrown lawn, neglected flower beds, or weeds everywhere. Take some time to tend to the yard.

3. Check for peeling paint. Ensure there’s no peeling paint anywhere on the house. Also, check to see if the front door needs a fresh coat of paint.

Remember: First impressions count, so when someone comes to see your home, you want it to look well-maintained. We want them impressed from the very beginning.
